Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant
Location: Toronto, ON
Pharmacy: Long Term Care Pharmacy Environment
Reports to: Pharmacy Manager
No. of Positions: 1
Type: Full time, permanent
Salary: Hourly, commensurate with experiences

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispensing of prescriptions, including preparation and labelling in an efficient, accurate and timely fashion.
  • Operation of automatic pharmacy distribution equipment (PACMed), including filling trays and handling strip packaging.
  • Ensure organization of work area and stocking shelves.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
  • Efficient and reliable
  • Positive, cooperative and team-oriented attitude
  • Communication skills
  • Pharmacy experience or pharmacy assistant certificate is an asset
