Job Title: Marketing Manager, Long Term Care (LTC)

Location: Head Office – Markham, Ontario

Reports to: Vice President, Sales - Long Term Care (LTC)

Job Responsibilities 

Main Purpose of Job:

Lead the creation of holistic marketing programs and coordinate marketing operations across all lines of business to deliver on establishing MPGL’s corporate and product brands and help achieve strategic objectives.

  • Research and assess market opportunities and how our services offering compare and contrast
  • Assess existing marketing channels and create an integrated approach to develop and update messaging, content, and positioning.
  • Develop and own ongoing brand building, acquisition and engagement strategies and execution.
  • Implement regular promotional activities and track metrics as determined by Executive Management and LTC leadership to increase brand awareness.
  • Manage the marketing budget for LTC
  • Design and execute marketing frameworks, analyze results, and implement scalable campaigns.
  • Work closely with business development and account managers to build out quarterly marketing plans based on brand prioritization and annual goals
  • Serve as the overall Marketing lead for new launches, collaborating across Sales, Business Development, Key Account Management, Clinical and Operations teams to ensure a cohesive go-to-market approach.
  • Collaborate to support customer acquisition, retention, and optimum customer experience.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Business Development, and Operations teams in our Specialty & Retail and Home Care service lines to design and execute marketing campaigns in markets where MPGL operates.
  • Support Marketing and Business Development teams in Specialty & Retail and Home Care service lines to explore opportunities for new markets and new products.
  • Ensure efficiency and effectiveness in campaign spends by analyzing market dynamics and exploring diverse channels.
  • Build proper collaboration tools, metrics, and reporting across LTC, S&R, and HC to enable effective decisions on marketing campaigns
  • Mentor and develop team members to foster efficiency and high productivity
  • Manage people processes (recruitment, training, compensation) to build right capabilities.


Qualifications

  • +5 years of experience in managing marketing functions at a senior level, and includes integrated and holistic marketing experience across multiple and diverse channels (Digital, Trade, Sales)
  • Experience within Pharmacy or Long Term Care industry is a strong asset.
  • University / college degree: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing / Business
  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles
  • Excellent Excel, Power Point, Word, and Project Management software skills
  • Excellent design and creative skills with marketing content.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to travel to client locations from time to time
