Job Title: Pharmacy Services Coordinator

Location: Markham, ON

Reports to: Senior Manager, Operational Services

No. of Positions: 1

Type: Full time, contract (Maternity leave coverage)

Salary: Salary, commensurate with experience

Job Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Services Coordinator is responsible for development and maintenance of all pharmacy systems.

Including, but not limited to:

  • Development, maintenance and support of all database content for store applications contained within the Central Maintenance Application
  • Maintenance and support for Kroll at all MPGL pharmacies
  • Providing support on Central Maintenance Application modules to all store locations
  • Keeping management informed about all aspects of pricing to ensure that MPGL achieves maximum profitability, including but not limited to, provincial formularies, provincial and warehouse catalogues, pricing, pharmaceutical programs and etc.
  • Manage special projects such as integration, merges, acquisitions
  • Testing for new releases and bug fixes for Kroll in various provinces
  • Report on the status of store support by any pharmacy system vendor
  • Assist in the development of educational programs for all departments pertaining to their areas of expertise and how they interface with pharmacy management systems
  • Additional tasks as required by the needs of the business

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • User level knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Kroll
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Long Term Care pharmacy
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
