Key Responsibilities

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of OMS’s product lines and services to alternate care facilities. Demonstrable negotiating and selling skills and the ability to identify, develop, and convert new and existing accounts in order to accelerate the sales growth within the alternate care territory.

  • Identify sales and service opportunities in alternate care markets including LTC, Assisted Living/Retirement Sector and Medical Clinics
  • Prospect for new business opportunities for sales growth in assigned territory and increase customer base
  • Meet sales targets as set out by Manager and corporate objectives. Execute on sales growth, enhance territory profitability
  • Manage and establish relationships with key decision makers to expedite opportunities
  • Focus on customer service and effectively assess customer needs and find solutions to requirements
  • Prepare and implement sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets and report on opportunities activities in the field
  • Effectively leverage the sales department and company staff to meet customer needs and identify leads and referrals
  • Maintain product knowledge and advise Manager of education requirements
  • Establish themselves as a business partner, creating strategic customer relationships
  • Remotely sells OMS’s products and retains and grows specific and new customer accounts for the territory to achieve sales goals.
  • Identify, develop and close leads for the business
  • Manages and responds to customer concerns and problems
  • Develop tactics and strategies to develop long-term commitment with key customers
  • Utilize pipeline management to ensure sales plan is met
  • Constantly review all sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to maximize results
  • Ensure customer needs are effectively met and build productive customer relationships

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Medical device or pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills; team oriented
  • Driven to success and committed to achieving objectives and sales growth targets
  • Strategic account development and territory planning expertise
  • Demonstrate customer service excellence
  • Able to formulate, prioritize and execute to achieve desired sales results
  • Professional attitude with strong interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years Sales experience
  • Business Development of new territory management experience
  • Experience with computer systems including MS office suite and Sales Force is a definite asset
  • Excellent written, electronic and verbal communication skills
  • Completion of a university or college program or vocational certificate
  • Previous Healthcare industry knowledge is an asset
