Job Title: Sales Support Coordinator

Location: Ottawa, ON

Reports to: Director, OMS Sales

No. of Positions: 1

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales quotations.
  • sales support material/samples current and replenished to support customer requests
  • Create new item requests – research for product literature, pictures and pricing. Information gathered is then sent to sales rep or client in a professional manner.
  • Support sales with pricing requests, generating smart lists and sales history reports
  • Create customer cards and validate information with customers as required
  • Process personalized stock order for forms for the homes
  • Assist to coordinate sales meetings, events and conferences on an as needed basis
  • Compile statistical data for sales reports and activities
  • Monitor status of quotes, orders and back orders, delivery and installation schedules and communicate delays with sales on a timely basis
  • update reps monthly on quotes generated for reps to follow up
  • Participate in vendor training sessions as required to maintain product knowledge and advised Sales Director of education requirements
  • Roles and responsibilities can often be expanded to accommodate changing business conditions and goals to meet the corporate objectives
  • Travel may be required upon request


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, Bilingual (French/English) considered an asset
  • Strong initiative and ability to work proficiently in a team environment as well as independently
  • Ability to time manage, remain organized and prioritize work
  • Enthusiastic and dependable and action oriented, with keen willingness to learn and improve on existing skill-set
  • Knowledgeable about the sales process and commitment to deliver excellent internal and external customer service


  • Completion of Post- Secondary Education in an Administrative or related field of study
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with administrative procedures and office duties
  • Minimum 3 years’ in a customer service role, in healthcare sector preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting high functioning sales teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office – including Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management systems.  Salesforce Preferred
  • Proficiency with ERP systems such as GP or Pronto Preferred
  • Ability to travel provincially
