Job Title: Manager, Accounts Receivable & Billing

Location: Head Office, Markham, ON

Reports to: Director, Finance

No. of Positions: 1

Type: Full time, Permanent

Salary: Salaried, commensurate with experience

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise activities of the Accounts Receivable team in Head Office
  • Ensure timely preparation and analysis of the monthly and annual financial reporting processes
  • Regularly review outstanding accounts and coordinate collection and follow up with payors
  • Liaise with banks and credit card service providers in relation to cash collection issues
  • Ensure timely creation and distribution of sales invoices where required
  • Timely accounting of banking and billing activities
  • Timely completion of account reconciliations and review of DSO and other finance KPI’s
  • Review and propose improvements to all receivable, billing, and collections processes in the Markham office
  • Manage human resources requirements/issues within the department
  • Other tasks as required

Qualifications

  • College diploma or University degree in related discipline
  • Experience in accounts receivable and credit management, preferably in pharmacy services environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point, Word)
  • Experienced in identifying opportunities for efficiencies and effectiveness, and the implementation thereof
  • Experience working with Great Plains/Accpac & Pronto software an asset
  • Deadline driven
