Job Title: Service Centre Specialist

Location: Markham, ON

Reports to: Lead, Service Centre

No. of Positions: 2

Type: Full time Permanent

Salary: Annual salary

Job Responsibilities

  • 1st level support accountable for handling calls and emails from users and customers, documenting the issue or request and where possible providing a response or resolution to close the ticket
  • Support pharmacy application (Kroll), providing instruction & troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot diverse technologies including laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads and printers
  • Answer incoming customer calls and emails, and take appropriate action for each inquiry
  • Input data into company’s call centre solution
  • Documenting processes and procedures
  • Assisting the IT / Technology department with any project or emergency that arises
  • On-call support rotation – support provided from 7am to 2am, 7 days per week


  • Communication and customer services skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly organized & accurate
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows based systems and tablets
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with basic wireless troubleshooting
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Kroll Experience a strong asset
  • Pacmed / PacVision – working knowledge an asset
  • Digital Pen – working knowledge an asset
  • Healthcare / Pharmacy background an asset
  • College / University / Technical education preferred
  • The ideal candidate is a pharmacy technician with strong computer skills interested in supporting customers and providing excellent customer service.
