 Developed specifically for long term care homes, Med-eMAR™ is a web-based Medication Administration Record and Medication Ordering system that virtually eliminates the need for paper during a Med Pass. A touchscreen tablet mounted on the med cart provides real-time medication records and uses colour-coded cues to immediately identify any outstanding medications that have not been documented.
Medical Pharmacies uses a unique integrated eMAR system with scanning, called “shipping verification application (SVA)”, to improve safety and documentation through electronic medication shipment tracking, consolidation of eMAR entry with medication dispensed by pharmacy, and an electronic drug record book.
