Medications can be ordered by phone, fax or digitally through Medical Pharmacies Med-ePen and Med-eLink. In addition, repeat medications can be ordered online through Med-eFill. Each electronic process increases accuracy, reduces paperwork and eliminates time-consuming steps.

To support our commitment to accurate and timely delivery of medications, Medical Pharmacies has a process in place to verify that the right medications are routed to the right home every time. As a final check, each filled medication order is scanned out. With Med-eLink the home is notified electronically that the packages are enroute. The home scans in the medication labels on receipt to validate that all packages have arrived accurately.

Leave of Absence medication requirements are processed promptly when they are needed.

Service Continuity
Power outages are becoming a more common occurrence these days. You need to be confident that, in any emergency, all the medications for your residents will still be available. Currently we have 21 automated packaging machines in 17 different locations across Ontario. In addition, Medical Pharmacies has its own warehouse to maintain a perpetual inventory supply plus our own team of service technicians. This gives us the depth of resources to give you the confidence that your pharmacy needs will be looked after.
